Clarendon High School athletes were honored Monday night for their accomplishments during the 2024-2025 school year with the annual Athletic Banquet hosted by the Bronco Parents.
Individual students were recognized by grade for all the sports they have participated in with several students being recognized for exceptional efforts and accomplishments.
In football, senior Dalton Coles received the Clyde Wilson Fighting Heart Award, junior Heston Seay was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year, and Grant Haynes was the Offensive Player of the Year. Mason Sims was the all around Player of the Year for football.
In cross country, senior Bryce Williams and junior Madi Benson were the Runners of the Year.
For girls’ basketball, juniors Kashlyn Conkin and Kate Shaw were the co-Offensive Players of the Year, seniors Tandie Cummins and Hayden Elam were the co-Defensive Players of the Year, and senior Kennadie Cummins received the Fighting Heart Award. Junior Kenidee Hayes was the all-around Player of the Year.
All-State Academic Honors for girls’ basketball were awarded to K. Cummins, T. Cummins, and Hayden Elam.
In boys’ basketball, senior Kaleb Bolin was named the Offensive Player of the Year, senior Colton Caudle was the Defensive Player of the Year, senior John Weatherton received the Fighting Heart, and senior Mason Sims was the all-around Player of the Year.
Junior Elliot Frausto was the girls’ Powerlifter of the Year, and sophomore Zak Roberts was the boys’ Powerlifter of the Year.
In golf, junior Gracie Ellis was the girls’ Player of the Year, and junior Heaston Seay was the boys’ Player of the Year. Senior Ben Estlack was named Academic All-State for golf.
Seniors Lauren Ceniceros and Dalton Coles were the tennis Players of the Year.
Juniors Kaleb Mays and Madi Benson were the Track Athletes of the Year.
In baseball, Caudle was the Defensive Player of the Year, Sims was the Offensive Player of the Year, and senior Mason Allred was the all-around Player of the Year. The Fighting Heart Award went to Bryce Williams.
For Academic All-State in baseball, Allred was named First Team, Williams was named Second Team, and Grant Haynes was Honorable Mention.
In softball, individual honors were not announced since the season is not yet over. In All-State Academic honors went to seniors Maloree Wann – First Team; T. Cummins, K. Cummins, and Chelsea Wright – Second Team; and Shelbi Coles and Hayden Elam – Honorable Mention.
Seniors Bryce Williams and Mason Sims were named the Outstanding Broncos for the Year, and Tandie Cummins and Madi Benson were the Outstanding Lady Broncos for the Year.
Coaches and cheerleaders were also honored during the evening.
