Two Donley County cases were heard when the 100th Judicial District Court met in Childress on April 23.
District Attorney Luke Inman, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe, Jr., presiding.
Brian Jamal Lynum, 41, from Desoto, Texas, was placed on six years’ probation for the third-degree felony offense of evading arrest with a motor vehicle, deadly weapon.
Donley County Sheriff’s Deputy Vincent Marasco arrested Lynum on September 16, 2025. The Donley County Grand Jury indicted Lynum on December 1, 2025.
Lynum was ordered to pay a $6,000 fine, $305 in court costs, and complete 200 hours of community service. If revoked, Lynum faces up to ten years in prison.
Rabe found that a deadly weapon was used during the offense, requiring Lynum to complete at least half of his sentence before becoming parole eligible if his probation is revoked, according to Inman.
Nathan David Zandonatti, 51, from Houston, was placed on five years’ probation for the second-degree felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
District Attorney Traffic Enforcer Todd Gambol arrested Zandonatti on November 23, 2024. The Donley County Grand Jury indicted Zandonatti on June 2, 2025.
Zandonatti was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine, $305 in court costs, $180 restitution, and complete 300 hours of community service. If revoked, Zandonatti faces up to 20 years in prison.
