February is Heart Month

Physician’s Assistant Devah Pittman spoke during the 4H meeting this month and stressed the importance of eating healthy, exercising and not smoking to keep your heart in tip top shape. To live a long and healthy life, taking care of your heart is important. Regardless of your age, having regular checkups can help your wellbeing. Don and Kim Butler of Clarendon (right) were the lucky winners in the Enterprise’s fourth annual Pigskin Predictions contest this week. The couple’s was one of three entries who got the most questions correct out the 55 people who entered. Seven Clarendon Cub Scouts received God & Country program honors during Scout Sunday services February 7. Cub Scouts Daniel Estlack, Nathan Estlack, and Ben Estlack (back center) along with Mason Allred and Henry Bivens (front row, left and right) received their God & Family awards. The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District would like to congratulate Gary Morris and Joel Ceniceros from Clarendon, contract inspectors of the Pampa Area Engineer’s office on their 15 years of service with the Department. Their dedication to the citizens of Texas is greatly appreciated. They were recognized at the TxDOT District office on January 14, 2016 for their accomplishments. Second graders have been saving tabs and plan to make a donation soon to the Ronald McDonald House in Amarillo. If you have any spare tabs, please bring them to the office at Hedley School.
