SCAM ALERT: The Texas Press Association is advising that phone numbers are being taken from newspaper classified ads. Scammers are calling individuals and businesses, claiming to be from the newspaper, and asking them to verify credit card information. If you receive one of these calls, you should contact your local newspaper.
