Congressional candidate Mark Nair will visit Clarendon later this month for a public meet-and-greet hosted by the Donley County Democrats.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mulkey Theatre at 108 Kearney St.
According to event organizers, the gathering will give residents an opportunity to meet Nair, ask questions and hear about his campaign for the US House of Representatives representing Texas’ 13th Congressional District. Organizers encourage attendees to bring others interested in learning more about the candidate.
The event announcement describes Nair as a Texas Panhandle native who is focused on issues affecting the region, including rural communities and land stewardship. Organizers also say Nair is knowledgeable about the ongoing discussion surrounding data centers and invite residents of all political affiliations to attend.
The meet-and-greet is free and open to the public and is being hosted by the Donley County Democrats.
