Clarendon College students are invited to enjoy a sweet start to the Fall 2026 semester at the College’s upcoming Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 26, at 7:45 p.m. in the Bairfield Activity Center.
The Ice Cream Social gives students an opportunity to take a break from the first week of classes, enjoy some great treats, meet new people, and connect with representatives from area churches.
The event has become a fun way to welcome students to Clarendon and introduce them to members of the community who are excited to support them throughout their college experience.
“We want our students to feel at home not only at Clarendon College, but also in the Clarendon
community,” said Clarendon College President Texas D. Buckhaults. “Events like the Ice Cream Social give our students an opportunity to make connections, meet members of the community, and simply have some fun as they begin a new semester.”
Clarendon College appreciates the involvement of area churches and community members who help welcome students and make them feel part of the Clarendon community.
All Clarendon College students are encouraged to attend, bring their friends, and enjoy an evening of ice cream, fellowship, and fun. Come enjoy a sweet treat and help kick off another great semester at Clarendon College.
